New poster to this group so I hope the audience here is the right one.
I am configuring a Fedora Core 3 system to act as my Freevo server. After some playing and tweaking I got it most of the system working. I was somewhat hesitant to go and by a TV card until I thought it would be a good investment. So far I have been nothing but impressed with Freevo and would love to build a home system to control all my PVR needs.
The problem I have it the TV card and Freevo. I got the card working with XAWTV but alas not with mplayer (I think that's the Freevo default).
I am using a Hauppauge WinTV Card (827 Chipset I think). Has anyone got any experience with this configuration for the UK area.
My end game would be to have a dual DVB-T Tuner system that could record two shows at the same time. However I didn't want to over spend/complicate things by putting in a DBV-T card to start with.
Any help would be great
