thanks John, will do. I suspect that the problem is in the ivtv setting, as the mplayer options should only effect playback. As I wrote, the problem also apears in the recording. Am I correct? I am intending to run the freevo through a debugger, and look for where the IVTV parameters are set (written). In what module is this set? Can you recommend a debug tool?
