I have a hack to fix this

Hi,
more generally, you should be able to get rid of
screensaver completely by issuing:

xset -dpms s off

This turns off both the software screensaver (black
screen) plus the energy saving based on DPMS.

Fabio.

that should do it, the first one turns suspend off, the second resets
the display so it comes back on.

hope this helps

Hello all,
I know that this question is not really freevo dependant, but it
drives me crazy... I'm using freevo 2.x svn, this is working
perfectly, but when I am launching freevo -fs, my X is going into save
mode (blank screen on my tv) after I don't know 5min of inactivity,
and I'm not able to get rid of this blank screen with my remote, is
there a way to disable the blank screen ? Cheers, Emmanuel.
