Hi,
I'm trying to have tvtime for watching TV live and mencoder for recording.
The problem is that the names used by tvtime do not correspond to the
ones needed by mencoder.
For instance in my local_conf
TV_CHANNELS = [('88','RAI 1', 'G'),
('96','MTV','U25'),
('97','La7','U26'),
('101','RAI 2','U30'),
('105','Videolina','U34'),
('106','Italia 1','U35'),
('120','RAI 3','U49'),
('123','Rete 4','U52')]
It works well for tvtime in live TV, but when I program a TV rec (for
example RAI 3), mencoder finds the channel 'not valid' and it always
records the last channel seen with tvtime (?).
I digged in the log and the command passed to mencoder is:
2005/12/11 00:11 CET [*RecordServer*] popen /usr/bin/mencoder tv:// -tv driver=
v4l2:input=0:norm=PAL:channels=U49:chanlist=italy: [..snip..]
If I type the same command manually using '49-RAI_3' instead of simply
'U49' the command succeeds. How can I fix that.
D.
