Anyway, you patch solves a problem we have with the #save solution, you have a working ring buffer. The problem is that Freevo 2.0 does not use the dvb card to play dvb, it gets the video data over udp from a second app. The reason for this is that only one device can use the card at a time, so it should be ours. It would be nice if you could enhance your patch that it works like a generic input plugin (like #save). This would be a very cool solution for our live pause problem.
