How do I get my Linux driver for my XPC? Currently, Shuttle provides Linux supports for some XPCs by packaging Linux driver CD along with the systems. However, not all XPCs and motherboards come with a Linux driver CD. Since Linux is an "open source" operating system; most drivers are written/provided by 3rd parties. We strongly encourage our users to search the Internet or visit the chipset vendors' web sites for any new available drivers. As we continue our efforts to have every latest models tested for Linux compatibility; please keep in mind that not all features/functions/drivers are supported at this time. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to push for better Linux implementation and support in the future. The only read problem that is outstanding is to get the zd1211 WLAN driver to work with WPA and I think that this will come with kernel 2.6.18. They have made some funny design decisions, fancy *not* building in a TV-out connector when the graphics chips supports TV-out and it a media center pc, I think they are really gaming machines with a pretty front panel. Actually, I had no problems building this Linux box, everything worked first time, takes the fun out of it really (except the WPA-PSK) Duncan > Evan > > On 9/18/06, Duncan Webb <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> John Molohan wrote: >> >>> Duncan Webb wrote: >>> >>> >>>> Justin Wetherell wrote: >>>> >>>> I've just finished a building a Shuttle XPC SB83G5M >>>> (http://eu.shuttle.com/en/desktopdefault.aspx/searchcall-12/searchcategory-238/noblendout-1/tabid-72/170_read-11083/) >>>> which works pretty well and is pretty quiet.
