Pretty much. I actually find that I don't need vsync/framedrop: mplayer drags the video into sync with the sound reasonably quickly & thereafter it's 'good enough', if not actually perfect. >I thought -vsync was implied when using the fieldparity option on the >dfbmga driver, but I guess it isn't. ISTR that mplayer has an architectural design flaw which makes getting audio sync right very hard. At one point one of the mplayer developers was off writing an 'mplayer 2' to try and get it right second time around but I don't know what happened to that. I could be entirely wrong though...
