Actually, just rejuvenated SVIDEO output - still nothing. Looks like it's
not only video playback problem - the same 'pixelized' output is everywhere,
eg, Freevo menus: the font is large enough, but 'fuzzy'... I'd hate to
reinstall OS to try to fix this.....

The quality though is still LOWER than the one I'm getting from under the
Windows.
Ryan, what output do you use? Can it be that I'm getting crappy resolution
because I'm using COMPOSITE? (multiple pluggin/unplugging of the cable
killed by SVIDEO socket on the TV). One one hand, again, output from Windows
on the same output (COMPOSITE) is good, but probably linux NVidia drivers
have a bug?.. Which output are you using?
Also, might it be some flags I'm missing when starting up X server?..
Currently I'm using this command for testing from TTY1:
exec /usr/X11R6/bin/xinit freevo -- /usr/X11R6/bin/X :1 -layout TV
-logverbose 6 -dpi 96
Any insights would be appreciated...
