It is but I have to say I won't be doing a lot with the code. It was written by someone else over a year ago but they never got around to deploying it. I've limited time and coding skills so I'm just updating the content and going with that. If anyone has some time to help out with validation/accessibility I'd welcome their help. > It could also do with a bit more excitement. > I know. I'd love to have a nice flash presentation or some other nice graphical design but see above. Again if someone can help out there please jump in. > As a side note, having spent ages trying to get Freevo to work on my > PPC iMac, I think informational organisation and quality content is > perhaps as least as important as a redesign? > > Russ It certainly is and that leads me on to another point. There's only so much I'm going to put on the site. The idea is that the wiki should complement the content of the site (see screenshots Freevo 1 project status links for example) but it's getting horribly out of date. It's success (and the success of Freevo as a whole) depends on the users here helping out on the wiki and updating any sections they can. So please if you have any spare time, whether it's 30 minutes or 3 days please have a look at the wiki and pick a section to update. We need new user guides with screenshots showing how to use freevo, take a look at the mythtv wiki for examples. There's lots of other areas that need work to so have a look around and choose something that suits you.
