I like mailing lists.
The posts arrive, devoid of graphics, are sorted by the mail client and then 
threaded, ready to read at any time - very important for those whose waking 
hours are not lined up with europe.
You can flick very quickly through all the stuff, archive it on your hard 
drive - I have 29.8MB here now, easy to search and find answers, without 
needing a constantly on internet connection.
