Both options would be great.

I'd really still have to argue that logically internet tv should go
under the TV menu. Especially if there are live TV streams, then when
I'm watching TV it doesn't matter that it's streaming from the net as
opposed to from my TV card - it's still 'watching tv'. Where I do see a
problem is when it's used to download TV, then it could be argued that
it should come under the movies section as that's where you'd normally
have offline content. However I'd still say stick with the TV menu
because if you took Freevo from an outsiders point of view, as a
appliance or stb or whatever, do you think someone new to it would
expect to find TV under the 'Watch TV ' menu or under the 'Watch a
Video' menu? I'm not trying to be smart here in any way I'm just aware
that there may also be some meaning lost in translations. I can't see
how TV, whether it be internet or not, offline or not, should come under
anything but the 'Watch TV' menu. Movies are films and as such it really
doesn't belong under that menu. This in turn brings up another issue -
'Watch a Movie' should more accurately be called 'Watch a Video' but
even if it was I still wouldn't put it under that heading :) Arguments
welcome :)

Having just reread that paragraph I might go a different direction and
expand on this. What I think the real problem is that the proposed
plugin is not an 'Internet TV' plugin but rather an 'Online Content'
plugin i.e. it is not restricted to just showing TV stations nor is it
excluded from showing them, it will display whatever content it's
pointed to. Taking this into account and re-evaluating it from a new
users point of view could I suggest another solution? Add a variable to
the config that states whether the feed is a TV station or not. If it is
it would be displayed under an 'Internet TV' submenu of the TV menu, if
it is not then there could be another submenu under the Movies menu for
'Online video' or some such. I know that this may seem slightly over
complicated at first but I always try to look at freevo from a usability
point of view (and specifically from a new users point of view). Any
thoughts? Am I mad :)
