If you decide to work on play lists, it would be nice if there was only
one instance of mplayer or xine running for the whole play list. This
would stop the annoying break at the end of each track which is much
nicer for pygoom when it is running full screen.

MPlayer can certainly accept a play list as an argument, not sure about
xine, so using a tmp file with a list of music would be great. This
might solve Adam's problem as well, it the players detect that the play
list has changed.
