I'm still working on my updated live pause plugin for DVB and a new
version should be available shortly (I know I said that before :-) ). I've
got the new improved ringbuffer working now and am just finishing off the
details.


I think I may have a solution for the fast forward and rewind, it will
take some time to implement though as I'm not familiar with MPEG2 video
encoding. Basically I intend to extract the I-frames from a GOP and send
that to the player, with a bit of fiddling this should hopefully allow me
to do both fast forward and rewind. Don't hold your breath this will
probably take some time.

I have a way to get an osd on the screen when using vlc, so I should be
able to fix that annoyance. As for the redbutton there is a project on
sourceforge to do this, may take a look and see what can be done with it.
