Hi All,

I am now tinkering with menu design and such. I am using the Tux fxd
as the base and modifying to our taste.

Do you mean the Tux'n Tosh TV.fxd? IF so then ha heads up on that one
the icon and image paths are not done right in the skin. They need to
be relative paths. At work ,atm, so I can not tell you off hand what
it is relative to so cheak a different skin for that.

 2 questions -

1 - Is it possible to display the menu items in 2 columns as opposed
to a list one below the other?

Not sure, but if it is possible it will be a lot less work to scratch
write that than adjust the Tux'n Tosh TV theme.

It would inherit from the basic skin so I'm sure you can find where it's defined fairly easily with DEBUG_SKIN = True and play around with it.

2 - Is it possible to use virtual placement instead of "hardcoding"
 the x-y coordinates?

Don't think so but then I also have not tried.

Evan
I think it was meant to, I'm sure I saw postings in the past about using percentages but I think it may have been broken some where along the way or may never have worked. Then again maybe it works fine, I haven't tried.
