you may want to try the new mpd plugins instead, i belive they work better
than the old version (as i wrote them)
to use it add the following to your local_conf.py
| plugin.activate('audio.mpd_status')
| plugin.activate('audio.mpd_playlist')
| MPD_SERVER_HOST = 'localhost'
| MPD_SERVER_PORT = 6600
| MPD_SERVER_PASSWORD = None
| MPD_MUSIC_BASE_PATH = None
of course you have to modify the variables to suit your own install
MPD_MUSIC_BASE_PATH can be a bit confusing, it has to be the path to where the
music is stored on the computer running freevo.
to add a song to the mpd playlist navigate to it using the normal freevo
navigation, bring up the audio items menu, and select 'add to MPD playlist'
if the option doesn't appear you probably haven't set MPD_MUSIC_BASE_PATH
correctly.
