We used the little program mbux on our wedding and on other parties. Originally it has been developed and used as a public jukebox in a pub. It looks nice, is easy to use and supports skins. A guest can select a music track and add it to the end of the playlist, but he/she cannot stop a song, while it is playing or delete a song from the list. If the playlist happens to be empty, mbux chooses the next song randomly, until someone adds something new to the list. Moreover the system is kind of secure, as there is no direct access to the files or the operating system and there now is even a version to run the whole programm directly from a CD/DVD, so that you do not have to install it on your PC. The original programm is from here: http://oswaldism.de/mbux/what.html The CD-image is from here: http://chbmeyer.de/mbuxrd/mbuxrd.html (only in German) the link to download the iso-image is here: http://chbmeyer.de/mbuxrd/download/mbuxrd.iso Regards Tanja > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference > Don't miss this year's exciting event.
