Thanks for the advice. So far, nothing has recorded using Freevo. I am however, able to record using the command line "cat /dev/video1> (file name).mpg". Is there anyway to incorporate this simple command within Freevo? If it could, this great HD device could be used with Freevo. I've tried several lines in local_conf.py, but nothing works, I think I'm just using the wrong commands. If anyone has ideas on this, I'll try them.
