I now have two DVB cards in my Freevo box and all in all it works well.
My only issue with TV quality at the moment is that after 10..20 minutes of
playing, I get bursts of blocky'ness and audio clicks,
then eventually micro pauses. Going back to the menu and re-playing stops
the problems until another 10..20 minutes.
(I don't have any errors from the card ..)
I have played with -cache settings for mplayer, but although there was some
improvement, I can't get rid of it entirely.
Does anyone know where the bottleneck is? Is it mplayer not keeping up or is
it a livepause issue.
I would like to know if anyone else has struck this issue, and if so, what
they did to improve it.
(I am only playing DVB-S at present .. it is not the card, as two different
brands of cards/chipsets do the same thing)
