Hi,

I have installed a new 2.6.30 kernel and the lirc kernel modules and all
works fine once I launch lircd with the command
"lircd -d /dev/lirc0", I can see my remote working fine with irw.

The error I get with freevo is:

> freevo: could not connect to socket
> freevo: No such file or directory
> WARNING: Could not initialize PyLirc!

It seems like freevo is looking at the wrong device (I have a /dev/lirc0 and
a /dev/lirc_01)
Is there some configuration file where I need to tell freevo the device?

I notice the pid file is now in /var/run/lirc/lircd.pid instead of
/var/run/lircd.pid, is freevo expecting the latter?

Thanks,
Bernie
