Thanks all Guys,
Installing setuptools fixed it for me before I saw the post from Jason.
However, I am not sure I have kaa.display installed as when I run Freevo I
get a message like .. "plugin dialog.x11_overlay_display disabled as
kaa.display not installed".
Does kaa.display have to be installed separately from installing in the top
level of "kaa"?
I see there is a display directory under
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/kaa/display ...
is this not the installed kaa.display? I see a _X11module.so lib in there
...
I have set my PYTHONPATH variable to point to my freevo-test directory ...
maybe it is not searching the /usr/lib.... path as well?
Also, will the nice OSD work with xine, or do I have to use mplayer ..
Cheers,
Bernie
