Hi all, Hunting for software for my media server. Since I started the hunt, much to my surprise, I've learned that I have unusual requirements. I want a server in my basement that provides access to my audio, video, and still image collection. For still and video, all I really want is a file server. Anything beyond that is gravy.
Audio is the primary focus of this project. The server will be the heart of a whole-house audio system. I want: -a web interface so that I can control it from any device on the network (usually my laptop) -to be able to choose the audio target (multiple sound cards on the system or streaming to the client) -a good music UI for browsing, searching, playlists, random play of local content -a good UI for browsing, searching streams from the internet Can Freevo do that?
