Hi Stephen,
Indeed a most strange error message that I have never seen occur with Freevsd.
Few questions for you:
Are you running RedHat 6.2?
Did you complete the entire install process? ie:
rpm -ivh freevsd-1.4.6-2.i386.rpm
rpm -ivh freevsd-pkgs-1.4.*.i386.rpm
$vsd-install.pl
its a weird error message, and I cant quite see how VSD has managed to nuke
your console...
My first step would be to get a rescue image, boot from it, mount your root
disk and look over everything, check mingetty - check everything!!
if you have no luck, wait a few hours to see if anyone else on the list has
any ideas => that is before reinstalling RedHat and starting again..
Please keep us informed!! sounds like an intresting (or should that be
frustrating) error !!1
Cheers,
Nigel.
