The initial problems I faced with a red hat 7.1 are:

mod_bind would not compile because I did not choose the right packages
during the 7.1 install. I reinstalled with more packages and it compiled.

When I ran vsd-genskel.pl and it tried to install the rpm addons it
complained of a glibc conflict and failed.

So I am unclear of what to do about the glibc conflicts.
