Yup, sendmail is configured in inetd.conf. Hmmm. The thing thats
concerning me the most is the lack of the vs name in the header of the
telnet session, which makes me think that maybe the freevsd glibc
package wasn't installed into the skel, but if that wasn't included,
you'd surely be seeing a lot more problems with your vs (lots of command
not found errors during vsboot, because if glibc wasn't inlcuded, then
none of the other rpms should have been). 

Stumped me, anyone else?
