Hi Ben
I think the amount of applications you want in your VS's is proportionate to
the difficulty in getting the skel/vs to work and the preconception of a
pre-built skel may to some people equal 'easy' which it is and isn't
I like the idea of the pre-built skel and if you balance trying to figure
out the pre-built as against re-inventing the wheel - I think the pre-built
may win if you want a few whistles and bells
But this does seem a quiet list - maybe not too many people trying freeVSD
(which I cannot understand) or not too many posting their results or not
too easy to find the results in the archive - but your FAQ is a good
resource (we stumbled on it after most of the probs were solved!) and
compared to other GPL stuff the freeVSD support and docs are superb
our next step is to get the webadmin working - the rpm on the faq site isn't
compatible with our version of apache and the non mod_auth_mysql method is
kicking up about
" Call to undefined function: authenticate() "
but we continue.....
