Hi There,

Just to put an 'official' answer to this question,

freeVSD is and will always be free - the fact that we released it under the
GNU/GPL is your guarantee of this.

Idaya is the main sponsor of the freeVSD project, and amongst other things
develops a suite of Win32 GUIs for the purpose of administrating freeVSD
powered host servers, virtual servers and domain names.

With the exception of any 'lite' versions (which will probably be released
for free in the near future) these products will attract a fee just like
many other professional control panels. More details will be available
*very* soon...

Wether or not you choose to 'purchase' the tools supplied by Idaya, this
will not affect your ability to use the freeVSD software or even
develop/install your own interface. The choice is yours...

So freeVSD is 'free' software in every sense. For more information about
the reasoning behind our decision to release freeVSD under the GPL, please
see http://www.idaya.co.uk/products/opensource/about.phtml?

Hope this helps,

Mark Sutton
