We are working on the error messages and return codes for VSD, but its
not a trivial task, and I think its being aimed at 1.5 but PLEASE DON'T
QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Yes you are right, vsd-genskel does not register the skel in vsd.conf,
for it to do that a dodgy system command to vsdadm would have to be
added (or we allow the perl access to the file, niether are good). We
went with this for a while, but then decided to stick with the rule that
no perl scripts (except vsd-[un]install.pl, but then they are both
special cases) were to modify vsd.conf. Also, you may want to check that
you're skel has been generated propperly before making it available etc.
`vsdadm part_skeladd hostserver skel part` isn't alot to type is it?
