Dear Davide,
I have had this problem too.
I cannot remember the exact procedure that I followed to correct it but
try the following....
Ensure that the 'hostname' command returns the fully qualified domain
name of your box (I assume its freevsd.amministra.com based on info
below) and that /etc/hosts contains your machine's IP address followed
by this fully qualified domain name only. e.g.
111.222.333.444 freevsd.amministra.com
The name of your skel is the name of the directory in /home/vsd/skel/.
Check that this matches the name and that when you "ls" in that
directory, you see something similar to the root of a linux filesystem
(e.g. bin, dev, etc, home, ...).
It might also be worth trying...
vsdadm part_skeladd freevsd.amministra.com skel 0
vsdadm part_setskelglobal freevsd.amministra.com skel 0
... for good luck.
(assuming 'skel' is the name of your skel) to register the skel and set
it as default
Good luck!
