Hello,
The source that's going to make the latest release is on the main
branch, please feel free to make changes, and if you send me (not to the
mailing list, large e-mails are not something we want to start
distributing) a patch/diff I can add it to the source for you (after
vetting it of course :).
Couple of things to bear in mind with vsd-vsbatch.pl: it was designed to
run as a batch/cron job, so the less output the better (but better error
messaging is always a good thing). The problem with not being root when
running vsd-vsbatch.pl is more to do with not being able to read/rename
the /tmp/vsd.accounts file. If someone's permissions are set up to do
everyhting as a non-root, priveledged user, then just checking for the
fact that you are running as root would be an error.
Oh, and any help with anything people don't like/really want to see
fixed that we've missed, please get in touch with fixes/changes
freevsd-devel list?), the quicker we can get the problem resolved and
the happier everyone will be.
Damion.
