You can use it for web hosting.

freeVSD is nothing like virtual hosts, each "Virtual Server" requires a IP
adress of it's own, so if you have three IP's available to you then you can
run three virtual servers, all with their own services
(pop3,smtp,ssh,telnet,ftp,realserver, you name it).

Since freeVSD is IP based, you can create three "hosts" or "sites" or if you
have 240 IP's available you can create 240.

Vmware is nothing like freeVSD, Vmware is designed to operate a simultaneous
copy of a bootable operating system within another operating system, in a GUI.

freeVSD is your good'ol linux based - in a shell, nuts and bolts Web hosting
platform.

Cheers,

Nigel.

(conclude with three verses of the freeVSD anthem.)
