We have every intention of ensuring that pop-before-relay operates correctly
with both real users and virtual users (I also believe it should be enabled
by default). I have been away for a couple of weeks and wasn't aware that
the relay implementation didn't work for normal users, but panic not, it
will be fixed shortly (hopefully tomorrow)...
