well, it would appear that's not the case... it's only bound to the single ip..
i even went and changed the password, and it doesn't let me in...
this is just really odd...

I suspect it is because the ssh daemon on the host server is answering the query instead of the virtual server, look at this previous mail, it should help:

this is what i tried to do.  it appeared to work, however i figured out that i can  not log in through ssh.  i can through ftp, so it did change the pass.  do you guys know of any reason why it would reject my password in ssh, but not in ftp?

in the console do the following:
 
bevs vhost
passwd admin
 
then you'll be asked for a new pasword

i think i finally got freevsd setup correctly, but when i created a new virtual server, i didn't get the password.  I thought i read somewhere that it was sent via mail to someone?  Who is it sent to, or how do i set it?
