Have u given the admin user login priviledge? Cos this is required for
an SSH connection.

Take a look at my FAQ for more info...

The bit on "Apparently, I don't have permission to xxx with a VS. How do
I stop this?" should have what you're looking for.

well, it would appear that's not the case... it's only bound to the
single ip..
i even went and changed the password, and it doesn't let me in...
this is just really odd...

I suspect it is because the ssh daemon on the host server is answering
the query instead of the virtual server, look at this previous mail, it
should help:

this is what i tried to do. it appeared to work, however i figured
out that i can not log in through ssh. i can through ftp, so it did
change the pass. do you guys know of any reason why it would reject my
password in ssh, but not in ftp?

in the console do the following:
bevs vhost
passwd admin
then you'll be asked for a new pasword
hope that helped

i think i finally got freevsd setup correctly, but when i
created a new virtual server, i didn't get the password. I thought i
read somewhere that it was sent via mail to someone? Who is it sent to,
or how do i set it?
