I got around this by doing "rpm -ivh" on the open-ssl libraries, if you
install rather than upgrade it'll install the new libraries VSD needs next
to the old libs that Redhat needs, the only conflict was the openssl binary
itself, which still works and is the later version once you force the
install as the libraries it's looking for are still there.
