Good ideas. I tried running '/etc/mail/POPauthd/restart_popauthd.sh' as admin on the VS, and got no errors.
I tried doing an 'unset watch' just for giggles, and it doesn't appear to have helped. I check email via POP and it doesn't appear to create any files or update /etc/mail/access or /etc/mail/access.db Any other suggestions? Please "unset watch".' - though I don't know what's behind this. Do this and then it should all run - check this by logging in to POP and then see if the access* files are created.
