Try using the FQDN in the command line ie.
vsdadm vs_create aphrodite.domain.com zeus 192.168.2.3 zeus.domain.com 200 0 5 skel hostname should return "aphrodite.domain.com" - if it doesnt take a look at /etc/sysconfig/network and change that. I looked in the /etc/vsd/vsd.conf file, and there was already a virtual server created: "aphrodite.domain.com" I assume that is standard (i.e., during setup a virtual server is created which is the same FQDN of the hosting server)?
