Yes, I realized this soon after posting :-) Generally speaking, on a "real" box, I tend to create an entry in /etc/passwd for each donain (typically the same username as the domain), so they have FTP access. I've onle recently begun to mess with "reseller" setups, and allowing the Customer (both reseller and domain-owner) the ability to control their email acounts, etc. I haven't setup the VSDAdmin web interface scripts (yet), but read that they were designed for v1.4.5-1.4.6. Are these going to be updated at all to reflect some of the new features, or is someone writing an entirely new set? I'm going to be learning Perl soon; maybe I'll make this one of my first projects after getting a handle on it? (or is there any reason why Perl wouldn't be a good langage to write the script in??) -- Alan Murrell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Out the 10Base-T, through the router, down the T1, over the leased line, off the bridge, past the firewall... nothin' but 'Net! ------------------------- The freeVSD Support List -------------------------- Subscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=subscribe%20freevsd-support Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=unsubscribe%20freevsd-support Archives: http://freevsd.org/support/mail-archives/freevsd-support -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
