I've been seeing some errors on one of our production freeVSD servers lately. It's running the cd distro of 1.4.10 and the skel that came with the cd's. The server is up to 14 virtual servers at this point. I'm seeing lots of messages regarding too many open files in system. I'm seeing this message both in httpd's logs on some of the virtuals as well as some errors in messages on the hosting server itself. By default what is the max with freeVSD? Is there a way to increase it? The box has 512 megs of ram, a 9 gig drive where most of the os lives, and all virtuals are on a 40 gig drive that is devoted to the /home file system. Is there anything I can do?
