Is the host server running any of those services NOT binded to an specific
IP ? The config files of the services were modified to reflect the new IP ?

You have them running as inetd ? i can think of doing it with sshd, but
Apache only if thats a very low traffic web site.

Read below...

This seems to be a 'normal' behaviour .. (?) well everytime i execute
(s)vsdadm vs_modify changing the ip to a virtual, it hangs for a while,
then complains about read time out, BUT is changes the IP both, on
/etc/vsd/vsd.conf and the /etc/FDQN and /etc/hosts from the virtual, then
i edit the config files from those services running either as standalone or
inetd, vsboot --stop, --start and is up and running again.

Seems to be some changes not made to the config files then or tcpwrappers ?
Regards,
P.S.: BTW, Ben long time ago you announced that the company you work with
put some of their developers/human resources to generate
documentation about the FreeVSD system, is there anything done yet ?
Please let me know.
