Thanks Ben, I have checked this and yes the vsd RPMS are in the correct place and the $add_ons variable is set to point to the coreect location.
When I was generating a Skel it would goto the section "merging third party rpms" then logged 3 errors relating to the glibc libraries dependencies being the wrong version. I'm assuming that redhat 7.2 uses glib 2.2.4 and the skels are trying to install a rpm that's below this version. So when it reached 3 errors it would cancel that part of the script and not install the rest of the vsd RPM's. I then removed the glibc...vsd rpms from the directory and generated the skel agian BINGO - it installed the files It was missing. Do you know if I required these glibc RPM's or does the skel gen script take these files from my redhat 7.2 install?
