Glibc (within the vs) is a patched package, and comes with freevsd-pkgs, the glibc within your vs does not come from the host. I believe the glibc patch is on ftp.freevsd.org - you could grab that and try to apply it to the glibc source (RH 7.2) srpm, but I believe the patch will probably need to be tweeked. I'm no programmer so I'm not entirely sure, but this would be the route I believe you would need to follow. > So thanx again for pointing me in the correct direction > > Alan. > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Ben Kennish" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Thursday, March 07, 2002 4:53 PM > Subject: RE: RedHat 7.2 > > > Have you ensured that you have installed the freevsd-pkgs RPM and left > > the RPMs that are contained within it in the correct directory? > > > > Try: www.fubra.com/vsdfaq/ > > > > HTH, > > > > Ben Kennish > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Regards, Nigel Marett.
