It is probably quite easy to setup if you have root access to the hosting
server--however since IMAP needs to be running on a priviledged port, it is
going to be /exceedingly/ difficult to setup and get running if you don't
have the access to setup an additional script that can bind to the proper
port.
(Of course, it's perfectly possible to run IMAP on a different port...!
