Hi John,

What is the contents of your /home/vsd/vs directory?
What is the output of running the 'hostname' command?
What does /etc/hosts contain?
Does 'netstat -lt' show your server listening on vsd or svsd port?
Can you connect with...?

telnet localhost vsd
OR
telnet localhost svsd

Kind Regards,

Ben Kennish
