Dear FreeWRT developers,

I try to run freewrt WLAN in managed mode (no encryption yet).

/etc/network/interfaces (relevant part) looks like this:

auto eth1
iface eth1 inet static
        address 10.10.10.11
        netmask 255.255.255.0
        wireless-type broadcom
        wireless-country DE
        wireless-mode sta
        wireless-ssid geggus.net
        wireless-channel 11
        wireless-security open

Unfortunately this does not lead to managed mode, but Ad-Hoc mode
instead:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# iwconfig eth1
eth1 IEEE 802.11-DS ESSID:"geggus.net"
          Mode:Ad-Hoc Frequency:2.462 GHz Cell: F2:52:5B:6F:8A:92
          Tx-Power:19 dBm
          RTS thr=2347 B Fragment thr=2346 B
          Encryption key:off

Any hints?

Regards

Sven

P.S.: "wlist eth1 scan" does show my my access-point, so WLAN is
basically working.
