Hi Thorsten,
some months ago I have already removed all explicit calls to
--{disable|enable}-largefile support. Besides special fileserver
requirements I do not see a real need for 64bit-filepointer on such a
limited plattform. Personally I have sometimes problems with samba +
Windows XP when files are bigger than 2 Gib even with largefile
support. I would go the safe way and disable largefile support. If there
is anyone who will test all software against this option, we can talk
about it, but now we should stabilize the system.
