I'll have to tentatively agree. The new splicing technology is to
genetics what the transistor was to computing.
The main problem is a political one - trying to control the companies
who control the technology.
I really have a big problem with them patenting the genetic material
of plants that have been used for centuries, then splicing terminator
genes in so that seed can only be bought from them, and only last a
single generation.
