Unfortunately, given the domination of global capital any drug that would convey
such a massive advantage as a 'luxury' will only be available for a very large
premium - creating even more of a divide between those who have and those who
have not. The only difference this time being that we would not all be born
equal, and there really would be 'superior beings' and the ubermensche (sp?). It
worries me greatly that we may head down the paths of Nietsche and the
eugenecists while pretending/believing we are doing good for humanity.
I agree wholeheartedly with Neil's comments that we are already 'Perfect' and
just have to realise this. Each of us (since we are all born the same, between
piss and shit) can be as compassionate, kind and loving as our great historic
idols, such as Jesus, Gandhi, etc. (pick your own.) The creation of a superior
race will merely increase our predilection for despotism, subservience and thus
'natural' slavery.
