Marcus, I have to admit something that I have not formerly been willing to leave a written record saying. But I guess my vanity would feel slighted if nobody ever noticed it.
There was a time I was getting lectured fairly heavily about my lack of a web presence at SFI. They were right to lecture; I was being lazy and stubborn, and SFI needed advertising help because they were trying to survive during the last recession. But I was also in a snit about people giving themselves too much credit, and not enjoying being railroaded. So I put together a bunch of web pages, to cover things that were needed, but refused to use the first-person (and I think second-person) pronoun anywhere in them. It turned out to require a little work, as normal English construction typically leads one into sentences that are hard to get out of without those.
