The issue is not that operators can be defined differently from popular definitions, it is that they aren't defined at all, or are defined on the fly. To retrospectively define the operator would require understanding the sociology of MAGA, microcosms of interaction, and the desire to destroy good faith, and it would be context dependent and evolving.
