No, they leave the in the yard with the old pickups, tractors, et c. until
they're ripe for disassembly into spare parts.  Maybe inside an old cooler
to keep them dry.  I saw a hackaday disassembling a monitor to make a
monitor the other day.

On predators of the old school, Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan Quartet turns
out to be a bottom up discovery of late 20th c capitalism from the
perspective of a neighborhood where most residents never even learn
Italian.  There's an urban area with some structures to it.
